Community

The church is located on eleven acres of land overlooking the beautiful Grand River in the south end of the city of Kitchener. The church sits at the crossing points of two major roads - Highway #8 and Kings St. East, and is seen by some 65,000 people who travel these roads daily.

The area is home to 350,000 and readily accessible to the tri-cities of Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge. Residential, commercial and industrial development is rapidly taking place to the east and the north; with the establishment of a major car manufacturer in Cambridge, immediately east of the church.

The region boasts of two well established universities, excellent shopping, markets, recreational, cultural and entertainment opportunities. Kitchener is also home to Emmanuel Bible College and the Eastern Office of the Evangelical Missionary Church of Canada.

Faith Evangelical Missionary Church is a family oriented church with people of all ages and programs to meet these varied needs. Our people are caring and sharing individuals who are supportive of one another and supportive of the church. This was evident from the beginning, as Faith moved from a college dining hall to its first church building in just five years. Our people come from all walks of life and from many different church and cultural backgrounds with one unifying force.... our love for the Lord Jesus Christ and His Kingdom.
