Amazing Prayer

It's amazing what prayer can do. I'm not even talking about how our prayers are answered, but simply about being in conversation with God and the privilege of being able to share our thoughts, opinions and desires with Him, the Creator. He is is listening. This past week, as I continue to plug myself into the goings on in Faith Church, I had the amazing opportunity to pray for 3 hours at the Monday morning prayer meeting. I assumed it would be an hour of praying to God, following the ACTS model of prayer and going through the congregation's prayer requests - but it was so much more. While those were a part of our prayer, God made each part into something much more than I expected. The Holy Spirit took charge of our time together and orchestrated it into a time of sharing and music and a renewing of our passion for what Faith Church needs to become. He blessed us richly and it set up my week so perfectly.

Thank-you, God, again for allowing me to be here at Faith and I look forward to many more encounters with you and the blessings you have in store!
